Our Kurobuta pork hails from Kagoshima prefecture which is the largest pork producer in Japan. Also known as “black hog,” kurobuta the Japanese term for the Berkshire breed. The porcine equivalent of Kobe beef, Japanese Kurobuta is the most highly prized pork in Japan and also regarded as the highest quality pork in the world.
