Wagyu Wrapped Rice Ball

Introduction

Homemade and freshly prepared Wagyu Wrapped Rice Ball to satisfy your cravings!

Ingredients

Ribloin slices, 200g Cooked rice, Salt, 10g Japanese pickles, 5g green onion, 60cc Soy sauce, 60cc Sweet sake, 40g Sugar.

Directions

Step 1   Prepare the sauce by adding the soy sauce, sweet sake and sugar into your saucepan, then boil it down until 1/3 of the amount is left. 

Step 2   Cut the green onions into smaller dices before mixing it together with the pickles, green onions, and cooked rice.

Step 3   Start each rice ball preparation by putting a rib slice onto a plastic wrap and seasoning it with salt. 

Step 4   Roll up a small portion of the cooked rice mix into a ball and place it on top of the rib slice.

Step 5   Making good use of the plastic wrap, roll up the meat around each rice ball carefully.

Step 6   Roast the meat roll in a covered pan for about 7 to 8 minutes.

Step 7   Drizzle the sauce prepared earlier on top of the rice balls to glaze them.

Step 8   Place them neatly on a plate or a bento and enjoy your meal!
